Welcome To Droze
Millpond Labradors

At Droze Millpond Labradors, we take great pride in our labrador puppies and understand how important a dog can be to a family. That is why we ensure our puppies have the best care starting with our temperture controlled kennel with outdoor turf area. Having this outdoor area allows the dogs to naturally acclimate to outdoor sounds, and to release all the puppy energy resulting in healthy habits of excercise for our labradors.
We also regularly have our labradors screened by local vets to ensure our dogs are at peak health not only to give them the best possible life, but to also protect future bloodlines.

AKC Registration

Having a dog registered with the American Kennel Club is more than just having a dog registered within their database. The AKC provides valuable information on the dogs health history and supply information on how to care for your Labrador. The AKC advocates for healthy dogs, and has resources from tips on traveling with your furry friend, to what kind of nutritrion your labrador should be receiving. By having a dog registered with them you are supporting a standard for canine health and awareness.

Frequently Asked Questions

For years, breeders and Lab enthusiasts have questioned where the Silver Lab came from. There have been many genetic specialists who have taken to the task of determining what causes a Labrador to be born with silver hair as opposed to the chocolate, yellow and black. After years of genetic testing, it was determined that silver coloring was the result of a diluted gene. Just because the Lab is silver and not a traditional color, it does not mean the dog will exhibit any difference in its personality and behavior characteristics that are commonly known for the Labrador breed. Those that own a silver Lab know that the dog is a typical Labrador in every fashion, outside of its unique coloring

All American puppies are $1200.00 and English puppies are $1500.00with no breeding rights.

Made with ingredients of exceptional quality, Diamond Naturals 117 Large Breed Puppy Lamb and Rice Formula Dry Dog Food provides complete, holistic nutrition for every pet. The calcium and phosphorus in the lamb and rice dog food formula promotes bone and joint development. The large breed puppy food contains L-Carnitine to help convert fat into energy Diamond always makes sure to include probiotics in their dog foods which is something any pet parent can appreciate. Fish meal and flax seed oil are important sources of Omega-3 Fatty Acids and can help improve the coat and skin of dogs that are susceptible to skin allergies. This is truly a dog food that offers a balanced diet of good quality proteins, veggies, and whole grains while also adding in probiotics that help your dog get the most out of their meals without any gastrointestinal distress.

Nuvet Multivitamins help provide a great immune system and ensures our dogs are receiving every nutrient they need for a long & healthy life. It is recommended to have these on hand at home and continue this daily.

I realize that everyone wants to come out as soon as possible to visit the puppies when they are born. However, lab puppies don’t start showing personality until they are around 5 weeks old. Early visits also can cause extra stress on the moms.

I will do my best to post updated pictures of the puppies weekly on my Facebook and Instagram pages. Those who already have a deposit will be allowed to visit at the 5 week time during our puppy “play and pick” at your scheduled time. You will be contacted a week in advance. It is important to keep your scheduled time since your time is scheduled according to your place in line to pick your puppy. If you cannot make your scheduled time you will be required to do it by live conversation from my phone at your scheduled time. If you can not do this then you will be moved down the line.

Thank you for your understanding, everyone is so excited about their new family additions and I will try my best to work with everyone. Droze Millpond Labrador’s has the right to first pick of any litter for their breeding program! This will be done by 5 weeks if we decide to do this.

At 7 weeks of age your puppy will visit the veterinarian to receive a full head to toe puppy exam, 1st shots and akc microchipped.
At 8 weeks of age your puppy will be allowed to go to his/her for ever home with a puppy starter pack:
Toy
Blanket (with smells of mom)
Microchip with lifetime enrollment
Microchip tag
Small bag of puppy food
Shot records and new puppy info folder

Droze Puppies are moved outside to a climate controlled puppy kennel at the age of 4 weeks old. Here they are introduced to potty training boxes with pine pellets placed next to a doggy door that teaches them to potty in and eventually they are going out of the dog door. At this age they are also eating a soft mush of the large breed diamond puppy food with a milk supplement to help Mom out. They will continue to be with the mother up until 6 weeks old when they will start to be weened gradually. Mom will have free access to go in and out of the kennel when she wants to get away.

YOUR PUPPY WILL BE POTTY TRAIN STARTED WHEN HE/SHE GOES HOME. CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY TO KEEPING UP WITH THIS GOOD BEHAVIOR!
